Thoughts of Warmer Places - Southwestern Patterns

As I sit here a few weeks after Christmas, I'm thinking how bleak an cold it is outside. the temperature has been mostly below 10 degrees lately and there's too much snow and ice for me ( which is any). I need to think about warmer places. Now, when I think about Florida - where several members of my family live - I can't help thinking about alligators and sharks. So my mind turns to the west. California is too crowded and strange so I stop at New Mexico and Arizona.
